Tech & Media Times @ LBS - A new platform to be heard

In a year of uncertainty, students at LBS have been able to continue our education, albeit in an unconventional format. Lectures went from virtual, to hybrid, back to virtual. Calendars became filled with never-ending Zoom meetings and walks in Regents Park. This put us as a club in an interesting position, and we chose to see the silver lining instead.

This year we have held two conferences (including the first ever Media week!), organised six international treks, and held the first inter-tech-club event with Cambridge and Oxford. This is all in addition to weekly student led events and our flagship mentorship programme, Elevate. I think that it is fair to say that our club decided to make the best of the opportunities presented to us.

With over 4,000 members, we are one of the largest and most active clubs on campus. 44% of the MBA Class of 2021 completed an internship in the Tech & Media industry, up from 37% the year prior. The importance of Tech & Media at LBS will only continue to grow from here.

We are committed to increasing the voice of our members throughout the London, European and Global tech and media communities. What better way to do this than provide a platform for our current students, alumni and future students.

On behalf of the TMC ExCo, we hope you enjoy the content that has been curated this quarter! -
